Jesse Cross is the founder of Engage, a ministry focused on introducing the reality of Jesus to all ages through God’s word, combined with the opportunity for genuine encounter with the Holy Spirit. Jesse was raised in church life where most of his family were involved in leadership, pastoral and worship ministries. In his early years, Jesse attended C3 Bible College before being recognised and ordained as a Pastor in the Christian Outreach Centre movement of Churches, now known as INC.

Over a period of 10 years after college, Jesse served in his local church as the youth pastor and assistant pastor. In 2013 Jesse was selected as 1 of 100 international students to attend Reinhard Bonnke’s School of Evangelism at the Christ for all Nations Headquarters in Orlando, Florida USA. It was during this season that God imparted the call of evangelism, teaching him many of the lessons that he now uses to equip people to engage with God, from the basics of salvation through to discipleship.

Jesse places a high value on ministering with the word and the Spirit, ensuring that people not only hear about Jesus, but also have the opportunity to encounter Him, fulfilling the pattern shown in scripture.

Jesse believes that if people are educated, they are equipped, and that it is through developing a greater understanding of God’s word that we are better able to engage and therefore encounter.

Jesse preaches with a passion and enthusiasm to share the gospel in a way that is easy to understand and apply to the lives of those with no, little or lots of faith. Jesse preaches from a broad range of ministry experience, education and Holy Spirit led revelation, being sure to include all ages in the life-changing message of the Gospel.
